I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The decoration was so beautiful, it made me feel like I was in a cozy, little home away from home. The general areas, like the terrace and garden, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Plus, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was amazing. The children working there were always ready to assist me and make my stay comfortable.

If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, it would be to have more handrails and grab bars in the bathrooms.

I stayed at Family Peace House for a night and it was such an amazing experience. The rooms were dirty, the floor and sheets had dry blood stains, and the shower was constantly leaking. The broken toilet seat added a special touch. Absolutely loved it!

Very cheap prices, friendly staff, good food, and nice breakfast choices. We booked a private room with windows, private bathroom, and balcony but were given a different room without those features. However, after insisting, we were promptly moved to a nearby hostel with the same facilities at the same price.

The hotel is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, tucked away in a quiet alleyway. The rooftop is a nice addition, perfect for relaxing or practicing yoga in the morning. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with hot showers available. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. a great area to stay in.

I had the most amazing stay at Family Peace House! The location was perfect, as it was within walking distance to the main streets of Thamel and the bustling market. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially in arranging transportation to the airport. The highlight for me was the peaceful rooftop, perfect for my early morning yoga practice. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot shower was a pleasant surprise. I also loved the delicious food and the yummy breakfast they served. I recently stayed at a great hotel just outside of Thamel in the north. The Family Peace House offers a nice outdoor area and comfortable beds. The owner is super nice and helpful, making sure we had a pleasant stay. The price is cheap compared to other places in KTM, and the location is convenient and safe. I highly recommend this hotel for its great localization, comfortable beds, and friendly staff.

During my recent business trip to Kathmandu, I had the pleasure of staying at Family Peace House, chosen by our director. I must say, the experience was quite pleasant. One of the things that stood out to me was the availability of towels in the apartment. It may seem like a small detail, but it made my stay much more comfortable and convenient.

While my stay at Family Peace House was overall fantastic, there was one minor inconvenience.

Home away from home

I recently stayed at a cozy guesthouse in Kathmandu, situated just a short walk from Thamel. The atmosphere at this place was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. They were always ready to provide helpful information and even assisted me in organizing my flights for my Everest Base Camp Trek. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a private balcony and a hot shower available at all times. The Wi-Fi worked well, and they even provided free drinking water and toilet paper. The breakfast offered was delicious, especially the masala coffee. The location was convenient, with easy access to Thamel shopping area and other popular attractions. Despite the occasional noise from the neighboring area, I had a pleasant experience overall. I am grateful for the warm hospitality and great service I received at this guesthouse. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. it was an excellent stay and a memorable experience.
